Money and elections

Association of Election Officials in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AEOBiH) has implemented a project entitled "Money and Elections" from 01 April 2007 until the end of March 2009.

During the project implementation, AEOBiH conducted training in all 145 municipalities in BiH about the importance of participating in elections. Voters are informed about relevant election rules, financial reporting of political parties and gender issues.

This training included 13 500 citizens, including young people, women, representatives of political parties, non-governmental organizations and local communities. During the training will develop the skills and ideas of the greater influence of citizens on the development of public policy and decision-making process. Four hundred and thirty-five (435) training is held in 6 cycles in 145 municipalities.

This project is implemented thanks to the funds the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF).
